Alan C. Jones : President and Owner
A member of the graduating class of 1979 at Bryant College with a B.S. in Business Administration, Alan set a course for a long career in computer and information technology. Working in the Boston and Providence SMB marketplace over the past 25 years has given Alan a diverse background and unique experience that enables success in today's business climate.
Thomas F. Towhill : Vice President and Owner
Tom Towhill is the co-founder of Computer Telephone, Inc. Tom is a well known and respected professional in the RI and Massachusetts business communities. In the last 25 Years, Tom has successfully planned and managed thousands of PBX and structured cabling installations. He brings his wealth of expertise and experience into each project in both small and enterprise business environments.
Linda Gordon : Controller and Administrator
Linda has a long history in customer service beginning with AT&T and Avaya. Working alongside Tom Towhill for many years, she is highly familiar with the Telecommunications industry and CTI's product line of telephony and computer products, Linda manages day to day operations, accounting, dispatch and customer service. She brings a wealth of experience to her position and wears many hats.
Haylie Towhill : Administration Assistant and Customer Service
Haylie joined CTI this year and works in administration. Her responsibilities include customer service, accounts payables and receivables, marketing and customer retention.
Kelly Fernandes : Sales Support/Dispatch
Kelly has worked part-time for CTI since 2007 and recently has become a full time member of the CTI family. Kelly has worked in the Mortgage and Legal Industry as an administrative assistant and customer service representative which made her a perfect match for CTI. Kelly’s daily responsibilities include sales support, Coordinating the scheduling of our technicians, interacting with our customers to assist with products, services or general questions, accounts payable & receivables, and marketing.
Frank Caparco : Technology Sales Consultant
Frank joined the CTI sales group in July 2009. He has an extensive background in Business Telephone System sales. His expertise and extensive knowledge in the telecommunications field has assisted many businesses, large and small, with offering technology solutions to meet their needs. Frank attended Roger Williams University and majored in marketing and advertising.
Jay Gordon : Technician/Infrastructure Cable Team
Jay joined CTI in September 2009. Jay has a background in sales, business telephone system installations, service and structured cabling. Jay has spent the past 8 years in the Orlando Florida area working in sales and the telecommunications field. Jay attended CCRI and currently resides in Southern Rhode Island with his dog Rowdy
Michelle Fonseca : IT Consultant and Network Engineer
Michelle joined the CTI team in the spring of 2010. She graduated from New England Institute of Technology in 2008 with a B.S in Network Engineering. She holds technical certifications in Citrix, Cisco and Microsoft. She brings along a wealth of knowledge and we are very pleased to have her as a part of our CTI family.
Ben Bishop : Technical Manager
Ben joined Computer Telephone in 2005. Bringing nine years of experience with him including four years with the United States Marine Corp, Ben has established himself as one of the top telcom professionals in New England. He holds technical certifications for Samsung, Panasonic, Vertical, Allworx and Microsoft. Ben also has a degree in Information Technology from the ITT Technical Institute. Ben's dedication to excellence and hard work has created much success at Computer Telephone.
Paul Fernandes : Infrastructure Cable Team Leader
Paul is the go-to man when it comes to getting the cable infrastructure work completed. He is a hard working, highly skilled professional that finishes the job with the utmost respect for workmanship. Whether it is cat5, cat6, fiber optic for voice video and data, Paul and his crew outshine the competition. He has received accolades from the State of RI Inspection teams for work at Rhode Island College to Salve University.
Tim Chmura : Infrastructure Cable Team
Tim Chmura is one of Cti's most valuable resources with over 10 yrs of experience in hardware installation and customer satisfaction. He is a well rounded technician and a pleasure to work with. Tim's expertise includes Panasonic, Samsung and Allworx phone systems. Bogen and Valcom paging systems. Fiber optic's, access control and IP security video surveillance.
Larry Donahue : Infrastructure Cable Team
Larry is a skilled technician with expertise in Samsung, Panasonic, Avaya and Nortel phones systems. Having worked at American Power Conversion managing their internal PBX switch, Larry left the corporate environment, took that experience and set out to work in the SMB marketplace. He eventually found CTI and has become a key cog in the technical group. Larry holds a degree in social sciences from Rhode Island College.
